Formerly a beekeeper’s cottage, the house has been completely refurbished into a modern and contemporary one-level beach villa. Well-equipped, with beach-chic interiors, the property is decorated in neutral colours throughout, with fun pops of colour.
Living Area: The open plan living area with dining table and kitchen leads out to a terrace through glass doors. The living area has a lovely fireplace, and the property also has air conditioning for warmer days. The beach chic feel in Casa Colmo is felt inside and out.
Kitchen: The open plan, bright kitchen is well equipped with all budding chef’s needs. The kitchen has been done to a very high standard and the light from the open plan floor sweeps through this room. You have a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, filter coffee machine, toaster, blender and much more.
Bedrooms: You will find 3 bedrooms in this villa. You have one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. All bedrooms are bright, spacious and very airy.
Bathrooms: There are three bathrooms in Casa Colmo, all of which are en-suites. The double bedroom has a large en-suite with step in shower. The second bedroom, the first of the two twin bedrooms, has a large step in shower. The third bedroom has a shower room. All shower rooms are finished to an extremely high standard. On the ground floor there is as well a utility room.
Outside: The gardens lead down to the private pool with 10x4 metres (0,8 to 1,2 metres deep) with roman steps and patio area, with a gentle stroll a little further through the gardens taking you to the beach, accessed by a gate.
Other Information: The rental price includes pool towels; a welcome pack and a baby cot and highchair can be available upon request. There are some unprotected drops from various terraces and around the swimming pool - young children need to be supervised at all times. The pool was newly constructed in 2016 so the gardens are not mature yet.
Please be aware, located 500m away over the water is located the Praia da Rocha Marina. During summer months, this Marina can produce a volume of noise.
Maid Service: 2 hours maid service 4 days a week, including Saturdays and except bank holidays. The changeover day is Saturday.
Local Areas: The small fishing village of Ferragudo is a charming village with small whitewashed houses nestling together in the bright sunshine. There are several simple but very good restaurants here and beautiful beaches to explore and enjoy. You are also not far from the green hills of Monchique, where life is lived at a very gentle place.
