Villa Zara

Villa Zara is a lovely, cosy property with sunny outdoor spaces, decorated tastefully with earth tones that sets the tone for this tranquil haven, located in Quinta das Salinas.

This 4-bed villa is in a fantastic location being a short few minute’s walk to the lake and also the boardwalk that stretches from Quinta do Lago to the Vale do Garrão area along the dunes.

Set in a super central location within a short drive or walk to many excellent choice of restaurants, shopping centres, leisure facilities, golf and sports areas.

Living areas:

Recently refurbished to high standards the open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room are so inviting with it´s neutral and earthy tones, all looking onto the pool area that comfort and relaxation are guaranteed!

The open plan area has big windows to allow the sunlight to pour through.

The living room has comfortable sofas, a TV and a fireplace. The kitchen, with dining area, is fully equipped with everything you need, with all appliances such as Nespresso Delonghi Coffee Machine, Smeg ovens, Smeg Induction Hob, Bosch dishwasher, toaster, juicer, hand blender, fridge and freezer.

To the right of the kitchen is a hallway that leads onto a work station and the laundry room.

The open-plan area is fully Air conditioned.

Bedrooms: 

The villa has 4 ensuite bedrooms. Downstairs you have 2 bedrooms. 1 which opens up to the back of the house is a twin (can be double) room with bedside units, air con, a large wardrobe and ensuite with walk-in shower.

Bedroom 2 is opposite this room and is another twin bedroom which opens up to the front of the house with ensuite walk-in shower.

Upstairs you have the remaining two bedrooms. At the top of the stairs on the right is the master bedroom. This room is a spacious room containing a king bed, desk, small storage unit, two walk-in wardrobe sections and a large ensuite with separate bath and step in shower. This room also has access to a large terrace that covers the length of the house, overlooking the pool and garden area. Utter suntrap!

Bedroom 4 is on the left side at the top of the stairs and once again has a king bed, with bedside units, ensuite with step in bath and step in shower and a small private terrace at the front of the house.

All bedrooms have Air conditioning units.

Outside: 

The stylish poolside area will help you relax, with an elegant blue pool (10x5m option to be heated) and sun loungers all set within a nice garden area.

The external dining space contains a gas BBQ, prep area, with sink and wine fridge, perfect to catch up on your culinary skills. Outside dining table for 10, wicker sofa seating, so you can enjoy the sun and the Alfresco nights!

Ping-pong table is also set-up by the pool, great to keep the young ones entertained.

At the front of the house, outside you have a large calçada space, enough to park 3 cars. The entrance has high palm trees and welcoming bougainvillea.

Local Area: 

Quinta das Salinas is an exclusive, pleasant and quiet area centrally positioned between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, close to the Ocean and walking distance from Ancao beach and the Ria Formosa which you access using the wooden boardwalk.

This is where you will find Beachside restaurants such as 2 Passos, Bold Octopus, Julias and Izzys., if you decide to go to the right side of the boardwalk. To the left side you can walk to The Shake, Casa do Lago and the Iconic Gigi´s restaurant. All great restaurants with amazing Mediterranean dishes, plus most of them have a rooftop terrace perfect to enjoy the stunning sunsets with a glass of wine!

As the boardwalk connects you to Quinta do Lago, you can take advantage of international golfing scene, featuring challenging greens and sea views across three championship courses. Other courses nearby include Vale do Lobo, which is better suited to newbies, and Laranjal Golf Course near Almancil.

Also located in Quinta do Lago is the famous high-end sports complex The Campus.

Another highlight of the area is Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, a thriving wetland ecosystem criss-crossed with trails for hiking, biking and birdwatching.
